Alexandria Hibert

5th Grade Teacher
5th Grade
Hello Central families! My name is Alexandria Hibert and I am thrilled to be part of the Central Elementary IB community. I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2015 before moving to Colorado. My teaching career began in 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona as a 5th grade teacher. Since moving to Colorado in 2015, I have worked at Timberline PK8 as a 4th grade teacher, Instructional Coach, and a STEM teacher. Here at Central I have been fortunate enough to be a 5th grade teacher, as well as coach Robotics and STEAM. I am passionate about building relationships, cultivating student autonomy through real life and hands-on experiences, and having fun while working hard!
When I am not in the classroom you can find me out rock climbing, hiking with my dog or horseback riding. I enjoy working on hobby farms in my evenings as well.
Fifth grade is an exciting year as students round out their journey as an elementary student. I look forward to the many memories ahead!
