Mrs. Vela serves as the Literacy Interventionist at Central and as a district Literacy Coach. She empowers students through evidence-based teaching methods and utilizes screening assessments to create a responsive system. With a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, she tailors her approach to meet each student’s unique needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally. Mrs. Vela holds a MAT: Literacy and is a Certified Academic Language Therapist.
