Public Safety Meeting

There have been incidents of vandalism in the neighborhood, which have included Central Elementary School and First Lutheran Church.

We’ve spoken to our LPD beat supervisor and beat officer, and they’ve agreed to speak to us all about keeping our neighborhood safe.

With warm weather coming, there’ll be a lot more people out and about in Historic Westside. Come find out some simple things you can do to make your own property safer, and some good practices for keeping the school properties and parks safe.

Kay Armstrong from Neighborhood Watch will also join us, and she’ll bring Neighborhood Watch materials. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to map your block, exchange contract info with your neighbors, and just get some ideas to connect with your community.

You’ll also have an opportunity to speak about any issues or concerns you have about our neighborhood safety.
