- I have spent my last 11 years of teaching in a variety of roles and districts. After years of working for corporate companies in Denver, I went back to school for education. I have spent my teaching career in Commerce City, Denver Public Schools, Des Moines Public Schools in IA, and now in St. Vrain Valley Schools here in Longmont. I absolutely love Longmont and am thrilled to be teaching in the amazing and supportive environment of Central Elementary. I never shy away from a challenge and find inspiration by seeking out new educational practices while continually evolving my pedagogical practice. I live in Longmont and you may see me out and about with my kids, Levi and Elise, my husband, Andy, and our dog, Saige. (We have a cat, Tahra, who does not appreciate comin with us on our outings.)
