Elisabeth is a devoted literacy teacher adept at helping striving readers become proficient readers. She approaches literacy by utilizing evidence-based curriculum and screening assessments to ensure students' instructional needs are targeted for successful growth. Reading difficulties can have a powerful impact on students. Elisabeth works with students and families to develop an understanding of the nature of reading and reading difficulties while incorporating the students' strengths.

Elisabeth holds a Bachelor of  Education, a Master's in Reading, and is currently studying to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist. Outside of the classroom, Elisabeth enjoys mountain biking, hiking, skiing and snowboarding, and traveling with her husband, two kids, and dogs.
