Year End Information for 5th grade families

As your child nears the culmination of their elementary school years, there are a number of special events happening in the final 5 weeks of school that we want you all to have on your calendar. 

  • Friday, May 3: Shakespeare in the Park (Thompson Park) G/T Kiddos (Rain date 5/10)
  • Monday, May 6:  All 5th graders will visit Westview Middle School from 9-1
  • Tuesday, May 7: 5th grade Track & Field Day at Longmont High School fields (Rain date 5/14)
  • Friday, May 17: Central Field Day- 5th graders help Mr Rehnberg (Rain date 5/20)
  • Tuesday, May 21: 5th grade Continuation Ceremony – 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria
  • Wednesday, May 22: Awards Ceremony- 1:45 p.m. in the gym
  • Thursday, May 23: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL~ 5th graders will take their final walk through the halls to the music of Pomp & Circumstance on their way to the fields for the annual kickball game against the staff.  This is followed by the all school picnic, student check out with parent permuission, or afternoon movie in the  cafeteria.
